If you thought your addiction to Facebook was something  then you obviously havent been on Twitter.Ive been on Twitter for almost a year now and every attempt at explaining what it is about has ended up in confusion so today I wont even bother explaining but here’s a video, hopefully you catch the drift.

Over the past couple of months, Nigeria has had a huge footprint on twitter, we’ve trended topics ranging from #ABAVERSION to #ENYEAMA(Shocked #KAITA didnt trend..lol) to #NIGERIANGRAMMAR and it doesnt just stop there we’ve created awareness on serious issues like #LIGHTUPNIGERIA, some of the tweets were even read on CNN ( Mine Inclusive) :) can you beat that???

So I think I’ve given you enough information, so I’ll go straight to my point.A lot of people complain about twitter being boring but really truly, twitter is what you make of it, follow the right people and you’ll have a blast, follow the wrong people and your timeline will just be Bleh! well today we at GidiNoize have taken it upon ourselves to list 10 Nigerians who will turn timelines around, dont be shocked if you happen to be one of them.

Its no news that a couple of months back, Mike Adenuga‘s daughter, Bella Adenuga tied the knot with Jameel Disu, the wedding was too on point and we’ve got pictures to prove that, click here.

Bella Adenuga Disu & Jameel Disu granted an exclusive interview to Ovation magazine revealing how they met and more.

I’ll stop my ranting here cause I know all you’re really interested in is the interview so enjoy!

What attracted you to Bella?

Obviously, she is a very beautiful lady. We met six years ago and ever since we met, we have been very good friends. We have spent a lot of time together. She is a very honest and sincere person.

How did you meet her?

Actually, it is a funny story. I came back to Nigeria six years ago. I met her three days after she also moved back. I went out with some friends to a place called Hacienda, on the Island, though it has been closed down now. I think as I was going in, I met her by the door. We said hello to each other and that was it. We didn’t exchange numbers. A few days later, I attended a party thrown by Bolaji Folawiyo and Sasha Israni. I went there with some friends and she was also there with her cousin and a friend. A friend of mine met her cousin and they exchanged numbers. We equally exchanged numbers. Since then we have been together.

Were you aware then that she is Dr. Mike Adenuga’s daughter?
No, I was not aware. Even when we first met, I never knew she was Dr. Mike Adenuga’s daughter until after about two weeks.

Where were you based before you came back to Nigeria?
I was based in the United States

You were studying?
Yes, I was studying. I finished my Masters then and moved back toNigeria. I went on holiday three months after I moved back. I just got back from my holiday and she just moved back also.

When did dating start?

Funny enough, ever since we met in June 2004, we have been together since.

Which means that both of you have celebrated St. Valentine’s Day a number of times

Yes

Could you recollect a particular Valentine’s Day that was very significant in terms of the way you celebrated it

I think the most significant valentine was the valentine after we met. It was in Lagos. I took her to a restaurant on the Island. I had the restaurant closed completely for us. There was nobody there just the two of us. I had a special band come out to play and a special song was dedicated to her. It was very intimate and romantic. I think that was very significant.

If there could be such a romantic scenario towards the beginning, what then happened on the day you proposed
The day I proposed which I think was about two years ago. She always had an idea that I was going to propose, so it was not much of a surprise. Though she did not know when I was going to do it. I had this elaborate plans laid out but at the end of the day, it was not anything too special. We were spending time together and I just felt the right moment in my heart, so, I brought out the ring, went on my knees, and asked her if she would marry me. And she said yes.

After the release of this song, rumours started to emerge that the supposed girl who was giving his friend ‘nodding’ in the song was Toni Payne and the supposed guy recieving nodding was Rugged man.In an attempt to retract the rumours, Rugged man called 9ice and had a conversation with him asking him to release a statement /something just to clarify that it wasnt him(Ruggedman) he was referring to in the song-Once Bitten Twice Shy, 9ice refused explaining that as a celebrities these things will always come, after a couple of minutes, the phone call ended but little did 9ice know that Ruggedman was recording the call.Still in an attempt to save his name, ReuggedMan sent the phonecall to various sites which posted it on full blast(Find Conversation below).

In a T.V interview yesterday the 1st of July 2010, 9ice dissed Ruggedman calling him a stupid and mischievious fellow, this is not the first time 9ice is addressing the issue though, find below 9ices statement.

WORLD: COULD THIS BE THE RETURN OF KELLY ROWLAND?

Kelly Rowland’s been noticeably absent from the scene for quite a while. Of course we all remember her from Destiny’s Child (if not, please go and find a life somewhere) and her solo efforts “Simply Deep” and “Ms. Kelly”.  Apart from the 2009 “when love takes over” feature with David Guetta who seems to be just about everywhere these days, she’s been MIA. Not for nothing though, cos she’s been through a change in record label and management and is putting out an album sometime this year.

Personally, I loved “when love takes over”; and Kelly herself has stated that the song sparked in her a love for dance music. Which is why “Commander” is such a beautiful tune. Yes, “Commander” sees her merging her urban roots with this new found love of dance music. Her vocal ability is truly shown on this record and though while I feel her voice is even more powerful than is expressed on the song; it results in a powerful electro-house R&B song.

Commander video feat David Guetta

The video for the song was filmed on May 5 by music producer and promo director Masashi Muto and features futuristic imagery and quite the number of sexy outfits. It was a little too less than perfect to me though, cos  I thought the choreography could have been pushed much further. But it’s a great song nonetheless and a wonderful forerunner for the new album.

3 new singles(Grown Ass Woman, Each Other, Rose Colored Glasses) from Kelly Rowland’s upcoming self-titled third solo album have leaked and we have them here on GidiNoize.

The latest of the new material is “Each Other,” which she created with David Guetta and Rico Love.

A fixed date hasnt been confirmed for Kelly’s album release but sources say it should be out b September, could this be the return of Kelly Rowland???????????????

New music just reached us at GidiNoize from a new artiste called Onome Ovwori.I must say this song has a totally different feel from your typicl Nigerian song and what I love most about it is the piano thing going on.I look forward to hearing more from Onome, Im sure you do too.
